the trees shook powerfully,

limbs breaking off like play

toys as they went into windows

smashing everything in and out

as cars lifted into a steeple of

a powerful tornado as homes 

vanished, stores left flattened

without mercy, the sky a dark

grey getting worst as it went 

straight into people trying to 

get away, what we fear now

is mother earth that feels our

time is getting shorter, our

physical bodies aging faster, 

our minds more fearful than

thinking of ways to stop the

wealthy that feed off a world

breaking apart created by 

their greed and their lack of

right or wrong for the rich will 

steel, kill and take all that gives

them more and more money as

they build their new homes on 

land they stole by pushing the

owners out of their farm land, 

the rich always demanding 

that they are the true gods of 

this dying planet and all must kneel

and praise the oligarchs for their

abilities to take without mercy

for the 1% is our evil parents killing

our children, demanding we get

in line and obey their words of death
