A lessening of the void between our breath
With small talk and a light touch of anger
And pride with praise and hope of a sometime
Love, we define our limits with barriers to escape
Through with answers never given, we assume
A knowing (of our lives) not presently applied
This space selective only for one, the appointed
Which one gives us the best view of our passing
How many show up at our funeral, the tears shed,
Your gifted presence now silent, kept inside the
Beautiful ordained coffin, could there be less or more
That maybe you have missed in your time by a few limitations
Maybe by the still voices under earthly primitive laughter
