the fruitless whimpering,

a loss of one's stature

for good or bad we all

adapt to our attempt to

move beyond those that

feel abandoned without

any means of escape for

now all we desire is a 

way to move beyond those

corralled living in a backdrop

of hope but no hope is 

present, you will not move

up the ladder of power but

stay in your blind lost

corral where there is no

demands acknowledged

for the powers that exist

behind curtains where you

only hear their voices angry

without morals for very few

rise to the camouflage of

wealth for most lie on the 

street wondering where 

does life begin again and

when did life care about

living in stagnant air, your 

breath dying from polluted

greed while the rich thirst

for more and more profits
