the why of living without

a parachute, each step we

take, every breath we inhale

begins another journey into

a jungle of wars, there is no

escape from battles fought

and lost, the generals do what

they are told, for wealth is the

power that dominates our lives

jeopardizing our future hopes

for these rich are addicted to

profits, the oligarchs could 

care less if the soldiers die

in a bloody merciless death,

your families devastated for

what, all the rulers of richness

want to know is how much do

I get off our brutality, the 

viscous killing of innocence

by the bombing of cities for 

what do they know but showing

off their power using death

squads to finish off those brutally

for wealth, in the screams of despair
