David Hume, "Beauty in things exist in the mind which contemplates them."
In a fresh present tense existence we see with open eyes not through past experiences and mental images of the ad men created solely to direct us to comply with the growing outside forces of conformity.
Memory distracts us from connecting anew each of our moments in times hurrying present. We try and grasp anything that can distract us from the fury of deaths opening door.
We are on stimulus overload with a constant bombardment of visual temptations that stimulate the minds passion to be something different that what we are and were meant to be. Each life is a gift that must be discovered not in fashions fluttering escapes but a life you discover through being present in your moments. Being ready to identify with and allow this outer presence to become your aesthetic present.
We don't want to be free of the the structured needs instilled in us since birth. In order to create images with purpose you must brake the controlling addiction of conformity.
Calm your mind. Listen to the subtle expression of your subjects knowing. When you perceive a subject there will be mind tricks to distract you from your intuition. Your will to contemplate the scene in front of you must be focused and determined.
Distractions will appear, time limits will try and hurry your progress away from your inner expression. You must fight the need to move on and be taken once again on the walkway of the consumer mentality. Looking for something you saw in a previous mood and a wanting now to duplicate that with the scene before you. Let go of the need to structure your perception by accepting the easy snap shot of submission, open up and let your inner landscape flow outward to show you the composition that reflects your inner truth.
This mentality to look at the external world not in its natural form but through the eyes of a consumer looking for what can please him/her not in a deep meaningful way but on a surface need, a need of glamour imitation an addiction to the surface reflections of a shallow mind.
We seek truths that unable us to sojourn on in our own purposeful will in silent contemplation of the moments still calm.
We can not let memory define our future. We will not allow the drifting past to take us from the path we have intuitively taken to explore our inner self, through image creation that can allow us moments of our intense love of the ever shifting present.
Break away from the demands of the known illusions of constant turmoil and conforming madness that make you cling to the past moments of glory or sorrow as if they were still present in your growing futility to become what you are not. Look upon each day as an adventure to see through the bright lights of mimicry into a different world of connection with the vision you will create.
